The Sustainabilitech project – Sustainability at ITECH (BS14) was launched at the school at the beginning of the second half of the school year 2023 according to the strategic school development plan in the framework of Edutrans21. Aim: Our aim is to promote the topics of resource, environmental and climate protection at the school and integrate them into the curriculum. We want to sensitise our pupils to SDGs and make them aware of the importance of resource conservation, environmental protection and climate change. Project Title: EduTrans21 Educational Transformation for the 21st Century According to the strategic school development plan ITECH had one main aim – the integration of SDGs into the curriculum of every course. Two topics are important at the moment: Sustainability with a focus on ecology, and Inclusion At ITECH three colleagues involved in EduTrans21 started a project called “sustainabilitech” on the 25th January 2023. First activities belong to waste separation and a new bicycle station. The project is documented on the platform confluence, the official platform for projects at ITECH. As part of the EduTrans21 (Educational Transformation for the 21st Century) project, 2021-2-DE02-KA210-VET-000050732, which Energetic Technical College from Sibiu runs in partnership with Berufliche Schule ITECH Hamburg, Germany and Infra.Run Berlin, GermanyIon 21st November 2023 . a workshop was held in our school in which 14 teachers participated During the workshop, three teachers from Berufliche Schule ITECH Hamburg, Gunnar Binda, Anna Leube and Tobias Schwalbe presented: 1. Between 4.10.2023 – 13.10.2023 a group of 22 students and 4 teachers from Berufliche Schule ITECH Hamburg, Germany, a partner school in the Erasmus+ EduTrans21 project, held a workshop on Design Thinking in our school. 18 Romanian students and 3 teachers from Energetic Technical College Sibiu (Popa Virginia, Soare Constanța and Volosciuc Sorin Dan) also participated in this workshop, which took place every day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Coordinated by the teachers from Germany (Struve Karen Mathilde, Brandtner Anna Katharina, Stiehm Dominik, Tobias Schwalbe), the students divided into mixed teams from the two schools, the Berufliche Schule ITECH Hamburg and the Energetic Technical College Sibiu, each realized a project using the AGILE technique intended to solve a problem identified in the school. Between September 6-9, 2023, Ms. teacher Soare Constanța, from Colegiul Tehnic Energetic Sibiu participated, within the EduTrans21 Educational Transformation for 21st Century 2021-2-DE02-KA210-VET-000050732 project, in training, teaching and learning activities at the partner school in the project - ITECH Technical College, Hamburg. Between July 3-6, 2023, three teaching staff from Energetic Technical College (Popa Virginia, Constanța Soare and Volosciuc Sorin Dan) participated in a mobility, within the EduTrans21 project (Educational Transformation for the 21st Century), 2021-2-DE02- KA210-VET-000050732, at Berufliche Schule ITECH, Hamburg Germany. The project aims to build resilience through educational transformation in VET schools to meet the demands of today's challenges of digitization and climate change.
